He used to smile sometimes, but the smile would only last half a second and then it would switch off again. My friend Dave said he smiled a lot more at his sister, they were engaged I think. His bass sounded like a bleeding VC10.

The only ones who come close to style and virtuosity are Chris Squire and Geddy Lee. All are very percussive players who fill every inch of space with bass and all who feature very prominently in the mix of their respective bands.

Especially the drummer....yes, he's fast, yes he's really keeping up... but I don't hear much groove or feel. I guess for me, it's just too damn much. The thing which made John Entwistle such a legend is not so much his incredible talent for fast finger work, but his ability to make it work within the context of an actual song. Exhibition players like Victor Wooten have similar ability, but it just sounds like utter nonsense.

Props to the drummer for incorporating Townsend's windmill arm swing onto the drums. Great version, singer spot on, one of the closest sound of drums to the original I've heard. Zak's good but damn, this drummer was real close to original and Zak aint ever.

Terrific cover! Vocals is 99% 🎯. The drummer, not Keith Moon but close to a Mitch Mitchell clone. Saw the real WHO in the early 70s at Anaheim Stadium with Little Feat and then a relatively unknown Rufus with Chaka Khan on the undercard. Crazy crowd!
