The Naylor bros along with JRam and Kwan make the Guardians offense much fun to watch. Young starting pitching and Clase make losing Bieber sting a little less.

This front office basically created analytics/sabremetics a few dozen years ago (look at how many analytics guys had their start in Cleveland) as a way to build a roster without having the money to give. Yeah, the A's did it in Moneyball, but Cleveland gave Beane the idea. Yes, it sucks that the Guardians haven't won a World Series in my lifetime, but I love and respect those at the top who have a plan for who they want on their team and stick with them. Sure, we have WAAAAY too many SS and 2BM prospects in our system, but that's fine....especially considering how everybody looks at our farm system, especially the pitchers, and go "how do they do that?!?!?" Smarter is better....

Also, as an old bastard who was 15 or so when the Tribe started hitting it's stride in 1994. I realized that the front office knew more than me, when they traded Carlos "One if by land, two if by sea, three if" Baerga away for Jeff Kent and Vizcaino. I was so angry, but turns out they were smart and he was basically done (and still got Jeff Kent - that dude could mash - and Jose Vizcaíno) for a player who never hit above the Mendoza line again.

We've had two or three bad mistake trades. But a lot of winners too. Winning a championship this way has proven to be really hard but we are rarely bad.

This Guardians team is so much fun to watch right now and Freeman, Brennan, and Arias look so close to turning a corner and starting to mash like they did in the minors. Plus Manzardo is close! The only question mark they have is their rotation because you can’t have the bullpen pitching 4 innings every day all year. Bibee looked amazing last night though! Go go Guardians go!

Good points overall, but Josh Naylor and Gimenez came via trades which the front office has generally been very good at also. But they are not directly products of the farm system. Considering the mid-market revenue restrictions, arguably the best front office over the last 10-15 years. Wish they would upgrade the TV broadcast team. Go Guardians!

Good video…Kwan isn’t Ichiro though as he’s a hall of famer. Kwan is a very solid player! Yandy for Jake Bauers was a bad trade as well as trading Junior Caminero for Tobias Myers. And the Trevor Bauer trade wasn’t great either as it was a wash. Our farm system is average atm but should get better since we have the #1 pick in this upcoming draft. The present and future should be bright. It would be awesome if they’ll add a quality starting pitcher at the deadline if there still in contention.

It's Ohio they know how to grow things they just dont what to do with the browns they built the cabs without LeBron they built the Bengals up they stamped the buckeyes on the map from the very beginning and kept them growing strong now you see this guardians team blowing up expectations since they renamed its crazy look at the crew champions of 2023 and the blue jackets are a up and down team Ohio is a sports destination for a reason

Maybe the best in terms of developing pitching, but pretty weak on hitting. Ramirez and Kwan are pretty much the only decent hitters from the last 25 years. And you could add Lindor to that list.

Both are great players but Cleveland has got away with paying 10% of lindors contract for barely any loss in terms of productivity. Giminez is a solid player probably another gold glove coming after this year, and he hits with runners on base... Lindor was terrible late in game with runners on base
