Yeah, it surprises me too. Not that, but they fly to both YYC and YEG, which is quite unusual for an international carrier.

As someone who’s been on that flight I can say that the experience is amazing. I have an Amsterdam and when I went to Edmonton it was winter and it was so cold. I loved it.

I've been on the KLM A330 between Vancouver and Amsterdam. Great service and delicious food. Also love how the GE engines howl at idle and going into reverse thrust.

no Delta pulled out at the start of covid, and with Westjet picking up the 2 former delta routes in MSP and SEA, I highly doubt they will be back anytime soon

The MAX 8 has just been refocused on longer routes rather than a medium-length domestic flight, because it just has the better range for longer flights to Central America, Caribbean, Hawaii, etc.

@@blueleafy7167 I think he might mean camera stabilization, how smooth the tracking is. I think a combination of in camera image sensor stabilization plus lens stabilization that works with the cameras imager, (Sony, Canon, they all have some kind of name for it) and post software stabilization in the editing to get rid of any other remaining jiggles.

It's not really that surprising, given that it is relatively close to the bigger airport of YYC, and probably cannot sustain the Auropean or Asian flights that some other Canadian cities can.
