it doesn't matter the year or video quality, the sound of MMW concerts is always perfect, they are the best live act i ever seen, there musicianship is unmatched.

I’ve been listening to MMW since about ‘96. Maceo Parker nearly the same. I’ve seen the both of them a handful of times. Always awesome! But I just happened upon this set some decade afterward and I’m blown away. Absolutely fantastic!

10:04 - maceo gets on stage! So great! I dont exactly remember when or where but sometime 2000-2004 around Maryland or West Virginia there was a concert at the bottom of a ski slope (no snow, was good weather, not skinseason) maceo also came on to play a couple songs with MMW. Hopefully the tape is out there.

yeah like Lucas said, he's doing little quick staccato flicks on the minimoog and mellotron that sounds very record scratch-y.
