⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠ WARNING ❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗ I decided to redo the engine of my Venox to obtain extra reliability and some power, but I have had surprises that in the end has become a serious repair, so I have it in the operating room, the problems are the following: - Camshaft bearings out of tolerance - Crankshaft bearings protrude above block, causing excessive crankshaft clearance. - Excessive crankshaft axial clearance. - Rusty water pump and liners. - Excessive clutch bell clearance. - Worn rear piston (the cylinders are perfect, they still have the machining marks) - Head threads somewhat damaged. Some things I already have solved, others I'm working on it! These are things that happen when you buy a used bike/car, everything may seem fine, until one day you open the engine to improve it and find the lack of maintenance that the previous owners made.

PS: It's rare that the starter does not work, it's probably a Bendix problem... (a cheaper repair than changing the starter)

Don't buy a venox, when buying second-hand spare parts you only find things in poor condition due to lack of maintenance and with scratches in important areas such as the cylinder head plane, camshafts bearings clearances due to lack of lubrication, and sometimes cracks in the rear cylinder head support due to accidents.. I tell you from experience, I love this engine, but it's something to keep in mind, I'm currently rebuilding my engine to make it as perfect as possible, it cost me a lot to find 2 cylinder heads in good condition, and still had to skim and adjust cam bearings 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@Alexa_SuperSprint620R well thats to be expected kinda, at the end its not a yamah or honda that is widely known, and i have some experience with machining this stuff, boring out cylinder head ports and all that so that wouldnt be an issue really

@@szypki_zygi For example, you can buy new cylinder heads and camshafts on Aliexpress for the Yamaha Virago 250, it's something that I love about that bike, and that is missing in the Kymco 😭😭 Soon I will upload a video rebuilding the engine of my Venox with new pistons, mirror finish exhaust ports, modified oil pump, polished cams, inox cylinder head threads, all gaskets, 0.10mm head skimming, remove carbon, oil circuit cleaning, conrod bearings.... I'm still waiting for the gearbox seal and crankshaft bearings to arrive from Taiwan 🤔🤔🤔🤔 My unit suffered overheating with its previous owner due to rust in the radiator and poor oil maintenance, this is very common in these bikes because their owners don't love them as much as other more expensive bikes.... cylinder, piston rings, camshaft lobes & rockers are perfect after almost 30,000km and a lot of abuse, almost like new, that's why I think it's a strong engine 😄😄 If you are going to buy one, I recommend that you do the same as me, and you will have a new and reliable engine, don't trust units with unknown maintenance, avoid them! 😁😁😁😁

Con un poco más de práctica se puede alcanzar los 100kmh en 9 segundo o algo así. Está muy bien por una moto 250cc pesada. ¿Qué opinas, debo comprar una para usar todos los días? No hay autopistas en mi país, solamente bypass.
