2 cylinder bikes sound a lot better in my opinion. i like the deep sound of my yamaha mt 07 ixil hyperlow.
@KingOath6 жыл бұрын
The MT-07 is certainly fun and joyfull! Part of the reason I ride one is the amazing engine sound. It’s not the sound of the exhaust that I love but the actual mechanical sound of the engine. Even with the factory exhaust, the engine sounds like two small hammers hitting on a hollow block of wood at thousands of times per minute. It creates a wonderful resonance with a perfect amount of vibration that makes you feel as if your body is connected to the engine, but without any discomfort. I have ridden it for 4 years now and have no desire to upgrade to a larger more expensive bike at all, it is a perfect balance of enjoyment, simplicity and low price in my opinion

I am used to a V-FOUR engine(I owned a VFR 400RR) as this has power in any gear and I found it a fantastic engine as it has steady traction in and out of bends(engine braking!), but I have recently bought a VTR 1000F FIRESTORM and I must admit the power curve and predictable traction is a fantastic godsend for keeping up with the latest 1 ltr superbikes and I am glad I sold my previous bike a CBR 600RR as that machine was way to buzzzy and twitchy at speeds above 120mph, this machine is planted and very well behaved at speed and under acceleration, I will say however the VTR is a beast and if you have little experience or lack of discipline between speed and engine noise you will come a cropper! please be warned!:/ All in this machine is fantastic it has the pull of a tractor and the finess of a super sport and a bike with a fantastic characteristic that is sorely missing from the latest crop of bikes. Worth a ride any day of he week. PS Pussies need not applie:)

Did that sense new . I should have put some Koni shocks on it but didn't . I wanted to keep it stock . I still own both bikes . I have always been a fan and follower of the V4 layout BUT I recently bought a VTR1000F FIRESTORM and I am utterly speechless as the power is highly useful and linear on the highway! Why have YOU NOT featured the VTR1000F FIRESTORM!! YOUR VIDEO IS INCOMPLETE WITHOUT THIS MACHINE ? I would also like to educate you and your viewers as to the reasons why engine layout is IMPORTANT. The VFOUR is a smooth and powerful power plant and reduces the overall width of the bike and makes for a consistent and progressive power curve of the machine. A V TWIN on the other hand also reduces the overall width of the bike BUT makes the engine a little lumpy and makes the power delivery a little more urgent:) I fell in love with my Firestorm as it has power when needed and changes direction when I ask it, the brakes and other equipment are obviously not up to days standards but I REALISE THIS AND RIDE APPROPRIATELY. This machine will with it`s 90 degrees v twin and 48mm carbs never be made again and ultimately it will be a CLASSIC :)

Similar to an angry bee.. when you really hear it you can't really compare it to a 4 cylinder sound xD And that's why i'm getting a bandit 400, 58hp, cheap, cheap insurance, amazing sound, easily and heavily customizable look. Mt07 sounds good with a proper exhaust, it's tremendously fun but i like real colors.. it looks a bit too much like a stealth jet to me, else there is the Hyosung GT 650R which sounds incredible with a good exhaust, only problem is that it's a sportbike and since we can't fit proper frame sliders (crash bar, 2-3 anchor points sliders or top blocks) it's just too risky. Else i have a green er6n (first gen) i love the look, it drives.. like an old bike xD but the sound is horrible, at least not great at all

2 cylinders is the perfect amount for small engines, more than this simply is not neccesary. 3 and 4 cylinders just becomes more complex and too many moving parts, the advantages do not outweigh the extra complexity in my opinion.
