There's a technical term. When you're driving down the road, minding your own business, and suddenly you're in a traffic jam. You fight through the jam and never see what was causing the disturbance. The phenomenon is called a "density wave." It happens whenever discrete objects are moving in a flow, like traffic on a road, water, stars in a galaxy, stuff like that. If anything happens to disrupt the flow it disturbs the density and that density wave can persist for a long time even after the initial particles are long gone. Now you know; there was a reason, you're just there for the after party.

@@Blacklabels686I'm sure I've been to more places that had me slide so the plate would be even with the trailer...
@Blacklabels686 Жыл бұрын
@@truckercowboyed2638 I’m sure you will say anything to defend someone who is lacking and displaying the awareness and skill set of a driver with 2-4 months of experience not 2 plus years…. Majority of places have you move tandems due to fork lift bouncing the dock plate every time in and out of trailer more severely than when tandems are to the rear. This bouncing can cause certain pallets and materials to wobble or fall. so they’ve made it company policy to have tandems to rear. Again vertical alignment has very little to do with anything as A. Most dock pates move vertically up and down. And B most trailers todays ( all of alexes he uses at GP ) are air suspension and level themselves to a certain height. Which is why If there’s thousands of lbs on the ass end of trailer it doesn’t sag low it increases air suspension pressure. Moving the tandems is polite though however especially to the forklift driver. However just wanted to point out how wrong you were and how wrong you are for defending every fault this kid has If you were any kind of a real friend you’d give the dude advice and stop condoning and defending his shitty outings as a driver. As long as he keeps prioritizing making videos over making himself a better driver he will continue to look like a fool and you will continue to look like a fool for defending such self inflicted slow growth as a driver.
