Alfa 147 Door card removal

Quick Video on how to remove an alfa 147 front door card. pretty much the same for both sides but drivers side there is an extra philips screw holding the window witch in.
The car being used in this video is being broken so a little less care was taken. Please take a little more Care when removing parts yourself.

Very useful. Picked up a super low mileage facelift model for my wife as she has always wanted one. Unfortunately door card pocket wet after driving in rain....:( Hopefully this may help.

Is the removal of the front doors on a 5 door the same as the doors on a 3 door?

When I try to take the window switch off it just pulls the top off not the entire box as it were. Any tips?

@@937m I got the same problem - I think You guys have figured it out for sure, but for future - In GT there is a little screw far under this switch. It looks like screw in the middle of nowhere, without any purpose. Remove that screw first and then proceed with entire switch. Best regards!

@@MirAgeOfDesert yes I figured that out when I went to my mechanic for help😂 I would have never thought that the window switch box on the driver's side is so long😂

Does the GT and 147 use the same model of check strap?

Yes. If your getting used ones get them from a 5 door as the doors are smaller and put less stress on them.
