So glad you made this video. I've been wanting to take mine apart for quite some time but I really struggled with removing the silicone so I just left it. Unfortunate that I still have to brute force my way through it, but at least now I know I won't cause any serious damage haha. Thanks!

Yeah, the silicone can be tricky, just make sure you are extremely careful because the plastics break easily

Thanks for the video, do you have any information about changing headlight assembly from 2012 GQV to one that has OEM xenon lights? My turn indicator will not work after replacing?

Hi, I didn't replace LEDs, if you have problem with them they can be fixed

Ho avuto problemi con i led, in questo momento ne ho alcuni bruciati, ma non riesco a trovare un sostituto per la striscia completa o per il led stesso. Pertanto l'unica soluzione è sostituire l'intero faro con un LED che non vale quasi niente. Grazie.

@@adrianbenitez8944 Find the right led diodes online, and take the led strip to someone that fixes cell phones, they can resolder it for you

Curious design choice that they used flexpcb as the cable. I mean not that they used it but that they used it without any protection. Unless they have so much faith in integrity of lamp itself.

It is, quite a bit of odd decisions when it comes to this headlight, but in all fairness I am pretty sure that Alfa outsourced the production of these, as most manufacturers do
