Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio New Car Protection Detail - VLOG 003

After our initial wash & inspection, we had suspicions that the car had a coating installed at some point in its life. This car is a 2018 purchased used with around 8k miles by our client. With no paperwork to be found (other than paint protection film) and performance falling off on some areas of the car, they decided to move on with our services. We originally booked the car for our New Car "Lite" Protection package, but a multi step paint correction was needed to ensure we had adequate removal of whatever was on the surface. We then applied Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and EXOv4 to the entire exterior. This client also opted for our wheels off ceramic coating package.

I think a wall mirror on back wall would look good and fit minimal shop design. Shop would look twice as large and allow video shots to back side of car.

Awesome work! You have a very methodical approach and a humble attitude. I wish you success! Question -- Have you gotten any feedback regarding water spots? I want to commit to coating but passing showers and potential water spots that coatings are known for are keeping me on pause. Also, are you concerned with breathing in any coating fumes?

Water spotting can be an issue depending on your environment. If you are already having trouble with spotting, a coating will not fix that issue, might make it more difficult for you. In that situation its usually better to just do a light polish every 6 months and apply a sealant. If you arent seeing issues with the car now, you are most likely safe to use a coating. Its call a nitro coin floor mat. Its awesome. Very heavy so it strays flat to the floor.
