5 holes are cheap heavy cast wheels that look like every other 2.0 Giulia on the road i hated them for that fact

I would have opted for a stylised forged version of the standard wheels - so they still retain the AR look and feel but not so similar to the bog standard cars.. I have the technicos on my Giulia QV Racing - look better than 5 hole.

I have to admit, they do look good in that sun shot! I still like the 5 hole black wheels against my Misano Blue Giulia with the black Nero package. But... I can see how this finish could be coming back as it looks extremely sporty! It's just the Alfa 5 hole Heritage I still love. Great content though Phil... Thank you! 🙏

Hey Phil, like your videos. I think the stock wheels are in a class of their own in terms of Italian style, beauty and design flair. So to me the new wheels make the car not look like an Alfa. You wanted a custom look, and these ones make it look custom for sure. Styling is very much subjective, but for me it takes away a lot of what makes the car look so beautiful and unique in the first place. The point was i hate stock cars ive been customizing cars for 35 years specifically to change things up and i prefer to be different over what everyone else has. All about individuality and personality that makes customization fun plus the car performs significantly better now with lighter higher quality forged wheels

I really liked the pop effect, but I wonder, is it possible to put the stock Alfa Romeo center cap on these wheels? I think it would give a dinstinct look and keep some of the brand look, also the black cap would pop even more on the wheel.

The quality of what this facility does is some of the best ive even seen in 35 years doing this stuff. There is a protective clear over the finish so it should hold up like any paint or powder finish.

Kind of surprised you like the design on these wheels. They lack concavity and the finish is almost chrome like. The tecnicos in silver would look better. I also run a set of custom forge wheels on my giulia so I understand these are much lighter and stronger.

The Apex were brushed and most brushed wheels are done by hand and very inconsistent which is why I opted against it this time around

they look good but i think it's a downgrade imo. The dark spoke are a key siganture wheel of Alfa - it also help matches the carbon accents more. Be interesting to know whether you feel the same about these in a few months time.

Wheels are good looking, no question about it, but not on Alfa! Sorry, but looking at the car you can't immediately tell if it is Alfa, and if you disregard the 4 Green cloverleaf insignia, you don't know at first whether it's BMW or any other sporty brand. "Telephone dial" wheels and some other original AR "turbine" wheels make Alfa Romeo to be recognizable in an eyeblink ... and these do not really. But hey, to each his own, do whatever makes you happy :)
