Beneath the standard exterior a beast lurks.. handbuilt Alfa 3.5 litre V6, RS Suspension & Brembo 4-pot brakes. This is how the GTV6 should have come out of the factory..

Was für ein geiler sound und gtv6 ist ein sehr schönes Auto....einfach nur richtig geil.

Thanks Tom. This is an Alex Jupe 3.5 conversion with RS Racing suspension, and it is just about as stiff as you can get away with for the road. It is intense to drive, very physical - yes, a man's car! However it has completely standard interior and it can do family trips while being very tidy on the circuit too. James

I had a red ‘84 GTV6 (A405 TMB) with factory air conditioning and Ansa exhausts 25 years ago - should never have sold it!

12v. Its based on the 3.0 from the 75, which is a direct descendant of the original GTV6 motor. So it drives like the original but with a lot more go.

Really nice GTV6 man! The Zender Milano rims look SO good on any Alfa. Your video makes me wishing it was summer so I could go for a drive in my baby =) Just 3 months off snow left in the north of Sweden :/

Hi, looks more like SZ ES30 wheels. But you are right Milano's are timeless.

Stunning example! Love the way you make this feel like a grueling experience, it shows how intense and implicating driving an alfetta-chassis'd alfa can be. You seem to have a fairly stiff setup with little body roll which makes the experience even more intoxicating in my opinion. I this an AHM conversion? I'd like to have that done to my 75 some day!!! regards Tom

Did you do anything with the transmission? I noticed that you can shift quickly without that 2nd gear crunch

James, Is that stoked, bored or both to arrive at 3.5? Sounds revvy (like 2.5), so I'm suspecting bored. Thanks, lovely car.

Recognise this car...and Jupes old workshop. How long before the engine blew up? I'm presuming it was a Dawie de Villiers lash up from Seth Efrica? Please tell me that crappy GoTech system was unceremoniously ripped out and replaced with something that works too? Car looks good though.

Fucking hell mate that car is my dream I'm 18 and I'm not dreaming about Subaru's Starlet's and all that other crap, true classic Italian sports car is My desire. How's that Alfa in term of break down? Have you got any problems associated with engine, chassis, corrosion? Please reply. Thank you.

Hi there. A few questions, what exactly gets beefed up when you do the RS suspension mod? I suppose pretty much coil-overs, and poly bushings, thicker anti-roll and torsion bars etc.? What is done by Alex Jupe to resize the engine to 3.5? I am in South Africa, and have '84 gtv6 2.5, still standard, appart from stainless valves, bigger AFM, and all round POLY bushings on suspension. Was thinking of fitting sleeves and pistons from South African special 3 litre gtv6. This would bring me to 2.8 L
