Perfectly explained and there's a few hours work in sorting that out. You have to wonder what design engineers were thinking ??? On the whole is the 2.2 a good engine ?

RESONS WHY JTS AND DIRECT INJECTORS GIVE U MORE POWER ( FOR A LIMETED TIME) WHAT ARE THE ENGINEERS TRYING TO DO ? SPARK ENDRANCE WAS THE NAME OF THE GAME YEARS AGO... NOW ITS EXPLOSION ENDURANCE ... AFTER THE BIG BANG... IN THE CLYLINDER , WITH THE PISTON IN THE DOWNWARD DIRECTION ... THE COMPUTER SAYS TO THE INJECTOR... INJECT A DROP MORE FUEL OR MORE FUEL DEPENDING ON ENGINE SPEED AND THROTTLE POSITION , THE INJECTOR SPRAYS INTO THE EXPLOSION, ENLARGING AND EXTENDING THE BALL OF FLAME THATS THROWING THE PISTON DOWN THE BORE... WHICH PRODUCES MORE POWER. IS THIS A GOOD ENGINE ? I THINK YES . AS LONG AS YOU CHANGE THE FILTERS AND OILS EVERY 10000 MILES, USE GOOD FUEL LIKE SHELL, TEXACO, BP, ECT AND DONT USE E10. USE A HYDROGEN CLEAN EVERY OTHER SERVICE OR INSTALL A HYDROGEN GENERATOR TO PUMP HYDROGEN IN WITH THE FUEL MIXTURE ( FROM £1200 FITTED ) THE WEAKNESS OF THIS ENGINE IS THE INJECTORS... THEY FOUL UP. WE HAVE CLEANED OVER 80 SETS OF INJECTOR ON THIS MODEL . WEALSO LIKE TO UP GRADE THE ENGINE OIL TO 10W-60. THANK U FOR YOUR INTELIGENT QUESTION . AND PLEASE CK. WATER AND OIL AND TYRE PRESSURS EVERY OTHER TIME U FILL UP... REGARDS EDDY

How often do you need to carry out the hydrogen clean to ensure the engine remains clean?
@IUnknownIDispatch5 ай бұрын
The carbon buildup has to go somewhere during your hydrogen cleaning. You can also run the risk of the carbon getting trapped between the valve and valve seat during your cleaning efforts. Worse, you can get carbon trapped in the rings possibly causing rings to break. Best case is to mitigate EGR using a catch-can.

GOOD POINTS RAISED ... The small carbon deposits don't destroy the rings, pistons , valves and seats , the seats and valves are just to hard to be affected.. the rings and pistons get up to a very high temperature which is enough to totally burn the small carbon particles, the temperature is so high its enough to burn up the alloy pistons... but it does not because of the speed of the explosion so the heat can not transfer into the pistons. Hydrogen cleaning is a tried and tested method of removing carbon out of the engine. Your catch can is not needed.... IT HAS NO SIDE EFFECTS . BRING ME A CAR WITH A DIESEL ENGINE AND WE CAN HAVE A SMALL BET ON WHO IS RIGHT. MY REPEAT CUSTOMERS RECOMEND THIS TREATMENT... THEY CANT BELIVE THE RESULTS.... JUST COME TO MY WORKSHOP WITH SOME OF YOUR HARD EARNED CASH. look me up on google and make an appointment. Make sure there are no engine faults in the engine . SEE YOU SOON.... EDDY

Why 10W60? This engine uses 5W40.

ITS JUST AN UPGRADE ... I WANT BETTER LUB. FOR THE TOP END OF THE ENGINE. THANK U FOR YOUR INTELLIGENT QUESTION. REGARDS EDDY

I've seen before and afters of people who carbon clean an engine with hydrogen and it seems to be a gimmick. Every before and after I see, the piston and valves look slightly cleaner, but still absolutely caked in carbon. Seems to be a waste of money, taking the intake manifold off and cleaning the valves by hand or with walnut blasting is the best way to clean them.

You have seen nothing...Have you ever seen a proper HYDROGEN CLEANING MACHINE. Plenty of hydrogen machines that produce 60 or 70 litres of gas per hour... That might last for 30 goes and costs £300. MY MACHINE PUMPS OUT 600 PLUS LITRES PER HOUR. And costs £13000. LETS HAVE A SMALL BET... BRING ME A HIGH MILAGE OLD STINKY SMELLY CAR WITH A 100000/300000 MILE DIESEL ENGINE. WITH NO ENGINE FAULTS EXCEPT ITS OLD. BRING A NEW OIL FILTER AND THE RIGHT ENGINE OIL... LAY SOME MONEY DOWN . AND I WILL IMPROVE THE ENGINE AFTER 2 HOURS. CALL ME LOOK MY NUMBER UP AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. REGARDS EDDY
