This is one of the most reliable cars off all time. As long as you aren't driving it in the winter it runs great. My dad had one and it only needed an oil change. Never needed shit done to it in owning it for over 10 years. He sold it about 5 years ago but man what a great freaking car. Gas mileage, fun factor, reliability and sound.

great video but a few inaccurate info: the first generation was called "osso di seppia" (cuttle fishbone) due to the shape of its rear portion. the third generation, as you correctly said, was called aerodinamica, but the fourth was called "ultima" (last one). All the generations are referred to as "Duetto", but only 192 were built with this name before Alfo Romeo lost a copyright battle and the chosen name was Spider.

My first drive in my spider I was driving along in slow traffic when I was spotted by like an eight-year old girl walking with her parents, holding her mother's hand. She stopped and stared at my car and I heard her say, "I love that car." Definitely a chick magnet, then!

You totally invented a coda tronca "Targa" that doesnt exist at all. Maybe you want to refere to the hard top targa which is just an aftermarket option and not a fixed targa model. The Alfa spider only comes as a spider-

Hallo Casper, tof stukje weer, thanks daarvoor! Een vraag; er staat bij de verkoopadv. 1966 km, dat kan toch niet waar zijn? Ik bedoel, 2e of gereviseerde motor dan? Kun je dat nog ff toelichten? Dank voor alles, Martijn PS wat gaaf, zo' n Duetto 1750 of Coda Tronca 2000 pffff. Ik droom nog even verder...prachtig!..

I have a green 74 with only like 60,000 miles on it and in the U.S. it's only worth half of what you say, but it has this spica fuel injection which I wish it didn't have. Nobody will work on them

Man goede presentatie maar jammer van de alfa die je bij je hebt. Inderdaad het zwakste punt is de waterafvoer van de gootjes onder de cabriokap, wat dan resulteert in het vollopen van de dorpels en het wegrotten hiervan. Juist de Spider die je bij je hebt heeft hier blijkbaar last van gehad. Onder het portier (links en rechts) horen zowel bij het begin van het portier als eind van het portier een naad te zitten, op het moment dat deze niet te zien is moet jij je zorgen gaan maken. Dan is er of een overzetdorpel opgezet (en mag je hopen dat dit netjes gedaan is, roest verwijderd en gelast) of de boel is dicht geplamuurd. Maar het is in ieder geval niet zo gedaan als het hoort. Bij een harde spider (en die zijn er weinig) of een goed gerestaureerde is er een korte dorpel onder het portier die voor- en achterspatbord verbindt en de overgangen hiertussen (lijnen) horen zichtbaar te zijn. Ik ben helaas ervaringsdeskundige en heb dit helaas ervaren bij een auto die ik gekocht in 1986 heb bij nu een grote naam in klassieke Alfa Romeo's. Hij beloofde dat de auto perfect was gerestaureerd. En hij is nu op TV, zo zie je maar..
