At school (the Netherlands) we had a couple of Delta power supplies for the more advanced labs (if that is the correct term). The company is still around. Stll based in the town Zierikzee. I found the schematics in the usermanual of this power supply available on the site of the manufactorer. Just look up the discontinued models section. The little black box with 2 pins labled RE38 has the function of a 38V zener. (Probably stabilized to death ;-)

Jep, another built like a tank delta :) These rarely disappoint.

That's a nice power supply, I like the idea of using a bridge rectifier with two scr's replacing two of the diodes!

Oh, and I think this is a beautiful powersupply. My complaint would be that the power button and the binding posts should be swapped. 😉

Oh, another Delta. Would you be so kind and measure inductance and size of a EI core of that inductor? Since i will built myself power supply based on schematic of D0300-01 for low voltage i was wondering how big that inductor should be.

my unit is back in my remote storage for now, the inductor value you need depends on voltage and current and time, i suggest you simulate your design using LTspice it is for free, this way you can find uptimal value for your product.

@@TeardownOZ2CPU Thank you for answer. I will look into that.
