Alfanar's Emergency Lebanon Reconstruction Project | Rebuilding Beirut

In the immediate aftermath of August 4, 2020, Alfanar launched the Lebanon Emergency Relief Fund which in total helped repair 70 social enterprises and small businesses - including three schools - across devastated areas of Beirut, and in partnership with social enterprise BEDCO by March NGO.
This video is the final in a five-part series that showcases the amazing impact of the work done on the ground, thanks to the generous support of our donors - PepsiCo, Impact Lebanon, Connolly and individual donors - and the support of our partners - Stand for Women, LEEP Lebanon and Beirut Digital District.
The generosity of all those who have supported our emergency reconstruction efforts after the blast has enabled local social enterprises and small businesses to stand on their feet again and get back to business. Our partnership with BEDCO by March NGO on this project has also supported the creation of meaningful employment to 110 disadvantaged youth and the experience to improve their skills for better future opportunities.
