As it was the first Ultraman series in Studio aLf, I worked hard especially! (Of course, I always work hard...! hihi) Hope you enjoy =)♪ 안녕하세요! '스튜디오 알프'의 알프입니다. 오늘 준비한 노래는 “울트라맨 Z”의 오프닝 입니다!! 드디어 울트라맨 노래도 부르게 되었네요...! 처음 선보이는 울트라맨 시리즈인 만큼 기합 단단히 넣고 열심히 했답니다. There's Decker which is currently airing weekly on Fridays (1730 PST) on their KZbin page. If you want to go back, some real good series were Geed, X, R/B (though it has the slowest buildup to the main plot of the suggestions so far), Mebius, Ginga and Ginga S (the first and second of the New Generation Heroes, technically 2nd and 3rd if you count Zero), Dyna, Gaia, if you want to hunt for Tiga good luck, you'll need it, Nexus (though watch Ultraman The Next movie first), and going further back to Showa series you can't go much wrong with Leo for a more serious series, or if you want something not quite so dark Ace's show strikes a good balance between child-friendly like Taro, and darker like Leo and Nexus.

A lot of the reasoning comes down to poor global advertising of the series by Toei, Tsuburaya and Bandai. The entire Ultraman library including up to the current series is always available in English sub, but not many people know about it. A lot of the global knowledge of tokusatsu is mostly about Power Rangers which these days is a shadow of it's former self, so the genre has really fallen to the wayside out of the mainstream and it's mostly just a niche thing now for people outside of Japan. Recently they have been more willing to import things elsewhere and really try to advertise that it's available over here so maybe it'll finally be popular everywhere! That's enough of my ramblings right now lol :0
