Great job holding the notes too 😁 I think I'll binge Z in the morning in prep for Blazar, something's gotta get me to watch it finally lol Regarding the bit in the description about Tsuburaya, I would not worry about copyright strikes in the slightest; there's a lot of straight up ultra music reposts and there's tons of showa rips/heisei fansub stuff up on youtube, just with stuff that directs you to their channel. They probably can claim any potential adsense on those, and just treat it as free marketing; their core revenue is toy sales after all.

@@secondarchive I missed the Blazar premiere tonight to catch Spiderverse with my friend while it's still in theatres, totally worth it. Also quick heads up just in case, the home video version of Shin Ultraman has serious problems; and none of them would exist if Cleopatra used the theatrical sub track. I can't recommend buying it until it gets resolved, but I'm still buying just so I can lodge a complaint as a paying customer lol

It's straight from the translation, I promise! ;) Resurrecting giant monsters for entertainment was an in-universe plot point from Z. I also felt like callbacks such as the Z Riser and Hebikura did make Z lean in a legacy knowledge/metacommentary direction at times, so maybe it was intentional! Shin Ultraman pokes fun at these tropes as well with suggesting the monster parts are interchangeable 😂
