I actually like that you have more privacy and more you and zoë time. But I’d definitely love to learn and hear more about the business side and the Alfie that’s not a youtuber. I know we can’t get all that cause many don’t want so see it. But I find it really fascinating.

A series into the making of a drop for future self or anything more 'behind the scenes' could be interesting. He doesnt necessarily have to film everything if he doesnt want to, but can just describe the meeting processes and how he gets from an idea to a final product which is then sold.

I agree! I really love the business side of things and would love to know more about that side even if it was nothing to do with KZbin. Something like Patricia Bright where she legitimately shows the financial aspect of business outside of youtube, hopefully people don’t take it as bragging... I definitely wouldn’t!

I think considering the direction that Grace Beverley (formerly GraceFitUK) has taken could be really interesting - as others have said, more business and entrepreneurial experiences. Hopefully then the channel could feel like its still growing with you whilst being a truer representation?
@thaissousa69444 жыл бұрын
I feel like being honest is one of the most important things when I watch KZbinrs, which is why you and Zoe are my absolute favorites! You can certainly tweek your videos to be a closer representation of your life, but it's your choice, it's what makes you feel most comfortable, the audience that has watched you for years will know who you truly are!

I think a good way to continue growing with your “audience”, while always valuing your privacy and lifestyle, is continue having these chatty segments in your vlogs. I feel like that’s where I learn the most about you and relate the most to you. I think you’re great at talking about personal growth, and those are things that you can look back at and see progress on.

Hey Alfie, about the part where you felt a bit stuck about the vlogging. I think that it's important that you show what you feel like showing. I believe your audience is old enough to realize that this is a part of your life and not all of it. That you don't film 24/7 so it's impossible to show everything. About the business part, I realy enjoyed watching Zoë in the office. I believe that others will always criticize you, sadly enough. Showing parts of what you do concerning business is really interesting to see for an older audience. I am 21 years old and would loved to hear all about it. Greets! Anaïs

I've just turned 29 and everyday I wonder where the time has gone. I still enjoy watching zoes old videos (especially vlogmas all year round lol) and it baffles me how I'm still enjoying them and find them so relaxing yet it's suddenly years later like life around me has moved and I haven't. And to think how you all were then vs how you are now it's madness to think how much time has moved on yet I feel its a complete blur. I often feel like 'I'm 29 I need to stop rewatching old videos ' but at the same time, I'm 29 and I do what makes me happy. I think I like to watch them as it takes me back to that care free time and that chilled moment in my life. As much as people probably think that's sad lol. It's nice you went back to your old collage to sit for a bit. We went back to my old school before they knocked it down and it was so nostalgic and fun! I think anyone with their heads screwed on knows you have so much to deal with behind the scenes that you aren't filming, even though you show the fun bits on camera. I think you can show both and it still be fun because of how you vlog. It's just your style. I think people see your fun care free non traditional work (vlogging) and think you live the life. Which you do, but they have to realise the hard work that goes into building that you know. Yes it was a lucky point in time where vlogging became a thing and accidently took off, but your hard work that goes into making the videos alone isn't often shown, nevermind everything else. You didn't continue getting where you are now with your gorgeous house and nice cars from nothing, you work hard and I think people should see bits of that.

*I've actually learned a lot whenever you have a sit-down session in your office at some point in the vlog and talk about what's new maybe for future self or podcast and etc. Do what you feel is right. When you showed us that you've decided to make a custom tie-dye for your own merch. Gathering the troops to create a custom tee design for charity, heat press your own prototype in your office things like that inspired me to be braver with my decision, explore things that scare me. Do what you love. isn't that what you've always inspired us to do? Whether it is shit or not its from your heart. Criticism is always gonna be there no matter what. But, of course, some people take in criticism differently I'm sure as an influencer you view it differently cause it's a daily thing for you. But whatever decisions you make. we are up for it.* Cheers :)

Hi Alfie! It's good to see you back on here. CONGRATS on accomplishing your big project last week! That is such a great feeling. I am looking forward to hearing more about it! I guess this would be no surprise but my two cents is that I would love to see more of the business side of your weeks. I think as your audience ages with you, many of us will be able to relate to that part of your life as other working professionals. Even if you aren't comfortable sharing the content of the projects you are working on (which I can understand for sure), there is still potential to share the dynamics and work-methods, workshops, org structures, etc within your job. Getting to see what your experience is like as a business owner, in your industry, and specific to the UK would be super interesting. Speaking of that, I'm curious what differences exist in business in the UK in comparison to the US. Cultures have always been one of my greatest curiosities. It is captivating to me how every place has its own unique “normal”-whether that’s food, architecture, greetings, vocabulary, or social expectations. I have had the privilege to engage with much of the world both personally and professionally. I think my count is around 15 countries so far! Because of my current global position, I get to work with team members and partner companies all over the world. I really look forward to my international projects because I truly believe in the added value diversity brings to company and team cultures. When managed well, teams learning to work around tactical differences like varied time zones and language barriers can almost subconsciously also boost their tendencies toward empathy and openness to new ideas. There are challenges too, no doubt about that, but I genuinely believe the better we can learn to work with people different from us in other communities, the better we can learn to work with people different from us in our own communities. I’m curious what your experience has been working with international brands in the past. Have you enjoyed those experiences? What have you found to be hard? What have you found to be rewarding?

I actually just saw the Michalaks talk about this on their channel, they had talked about how people were going back to wanting more of the raw content, more of the real life content, and I agree, I’ve watched you since 2012, which is crazy in itself, but I’ve always loved how open and honest you’ve been and I’ve loved seeing your growth over that time, I wouldn’t get too caught up in style of vlog that you’re doing and instead film what you want to film, be it a business endeavor, hanging out with friends, a workout progression, etc. On another note, I actually LOVE when you and Zoe vlog your game nights without a time lapse because it makes me feel part of the game and I’m trying to get the right answer 🤣

Alfie I get what you were saying. A suggestion might be to create another channel Alfie's Business Deyes and utilize your talent as a businessman to share ideas on the thought process behind making business decisions, and sharing the successes and failures in that decision making process. Obviously keep out all the confidential processes but it would be great to hear the how you go about taking something from an idea to reality. Even if it only helps one of your viewers who have been with you on your journey I think why not.

Alfie, I completely agree with you on the fact that your newest videos maybe aren’t the most accurate representation of your life at the moment but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. I’ve been watching you since the beginning of 2014 and I can say that, across all your channels, your content has changed. Do I miss the craziness and fun of those early years? Of course. But I’m 24 now and I’ve grown with you and you inspire me to be a better person every day. I’m still here and I’m still interested in your and Zoe’s life. You’ve become a part of my life, so I would want you to feel comfortable and happy with the content you post. If you include more business content or personal content that’s amazing and we’d all still watch and support you. You’re entitled to your private life and what you share on the Internet is important for a variety of reasons, so post what you want! You’re a great person with tremendous talent on and off KZbin. You do you and we’ll be here to watch and support you no matter what.

I think that a good vlog includes a bit of your personal life, not even the interesting parts, just hanging around the house of something. But I also think that it is really interesting to see the business-Alfie because I think that will inspire young people to maybe start something of there own. You really don't need to plan a vlog day with fun stuff, just show bits of you basic day.

I’ve grew up watching Alfie and the rest of these you tubers and I did stop for a long time because it just wasn’t something I was in to anymore, I was growing up but these KZbinrs would stick to their younger audience but it’s really nice to see Alfie growing up more and catering for him older audience because at the end of the day we’re all growing up nd getting older and our taste changes all the time

Alfie, we know you work extremely hard, not just in youtube, multiple things. I think you should only film things that you want to. If that’s only the good days then fine and if there are some bad days or busy days it’s up to you. Just always try to remember that the videos you film are for you, your family, Zoe and your future family. Try not to please us. Yes the viewers have help you and brought you where you are today but half of that was you too! Just film the memories you want to remember, doesn’t always have to be happy but it’s always your choice, remember that! Love the video btw❤️
