Zoe was wearing her hair in a bun and took it out so it had a kink in it and then the lighting in the shop made it look darker and lighter from the kink! Thats not what her hair is like haha! I find it really sad that insta stories become so much more popular. Everytime Zoe uploads a long vlog i put on a nice face mask and watch it in bed. It is a very nice way to calm down and i payed attention. I think she does her insta stories really well but i tend to rush through them and i think that's not the goal of it, is it? It's not nearly the same for the viewer but i get why this tendency has evolved.

The advice in this video when you were sat in the kitchen is amazing like I have a ‘friend’ who has been so negative in my life and made me feel so shit and I have had panic attacks because of them and I felt like I couldn’t get rid of them as they are on my uni course and live in the same shared house as me. They made me feel trapped in that house once as I didn’t want to leave my room etc and they just made me feel so down that I had to miss out on uni for a bit. What you have been saying has really helped me so much and now I’m able to sort all that out. My proper friends have all told me how negative and toxic that person is and I’ve been too scared to admit it but now I have. I may only be 19 nearly 20 and in my second year of uni but I don’t want that negativity keeping me down.

Watching vlogs makes me feel like a fly on the wall during moments of yours and Zoe’s lives. Looking at Instastories feels like I’m looking at a photo album. I have just un followed 160 people from Instagram because of Zoe’s advise feels a lot better. I have just got rid of a toxic friendship and it took me a very long time for me to do it but I was so tired and finally listened to my friends and family. And I feel so much better about it. I enjoyed that vlog and that chat! That’s one of the reasons why I feel more connected with vlogs rather than insta stories, idk they’re more personal and I just feel more like I’m there? Zoe I watch you because you don’t fit into the community who are largely money and clout chasing and not very down to earth. Basically you’re one of the only good ones left pls don’t leave, I’ll miss the connection from vlogs that you can’t really get through insta :( But the non selfish part of me wants you to be happy so do what’s best for you :)

The fact that You and Zoe are talking about that instagram thing is so good and so needed I think I deleted my instagram because I have a lot to learn for my exams soon, and immediately gained so much time ! I forgot about sending people mems and other things IMMEDIATELY. Also when I had ig constantly I felt I needed to go shoping and buy some new stuff, clothes, cosmetics, and when I deleted IG I just stopped feeling that I think that everybody who has an IG profile should delete it for some time just to see how it is and to refresh their feelings about social media and personal lifie It is amazingly beneficial

I like vlogs soooooo much better than instagram stories. Whenever I go to Instagram stories there are too many to go through from other followers. Never really enjoyed insta stories. Just my opinion. Love both of you ❤️❤️

To what zoe was saying about being an influencer on instagram vs youtube, I just think that instagram is so much more accesible and it's right there. Like instead of having to go to a different app or open your laptop, you open ig and the first thing you see are stories of people you follow and since both of you have a large following, you get more views on your instagram stories. But i personally like to sit down and play her videos and fully engage my mind to watching them or just listening to it in the background. It isnt the same with ig stories. I also feel like on instagram, it's so much more rare to comr across transparent content. Everything is edited in a way that's so specific to the few things you want to share when in comparision to a youtube video, you're going off about random things, having conversations and really filming scenes not just little 10 second clips of small things. I enjoy youtube over ig stories because It shows a more human side of media than instagram does.

That talk you had with Zoe was quite interesting because about.. maybe 2 weeks ago, I deleted the Instagram app from my phone (not my account, just to be clear) and it has been life-changing. It helped me realize how addicted I am to instagram, bc I sometimes just open my phone and instantly look for IG, and it ain’t there. I do occasionally miss it though, but for the vast majority, I even forget it exists. My mental and emotionally health has definitely improved bc I also realized I was subconsciously comparing myself, not to celebrities, but friends. Now I consider myself a strong secure person, so I couldn’t believe it when I had the self realization. But after this long rumble, I’m definitely going to be re-uploading the app 🤣🤣. I just wanted to try it for about a month If you got this far, you deserve a treat bc wowww, i talk quite a bit. But yeah, have a great day xxxx

I’m taking a social media class and part of our assignment was to turn on our Screen Time on our phones (or track it separately) for one week. It’s SCARY how much time I found I was spending on my phone daily, and I’m trying to be better about it (I say as I’m on my phone on KZbin) 😅 I’ve found that during times of stress I’m more likely to gravitate towards my phone, but I’d like to train myself to draw or read or walk or something when I’m anxious. It’s a slow process, but I’m trying!

The whole instagram talk really spoke to me... personally I have so much anxiety and fear about posting on instagram due to all the obsession over likes and how many you get. I completely hate that I let my fear of "not getting enough likes" control what or when I post on instagram and over the month of April I've been trying to post more in an attempt to rid myself of the fear. while it hasn't done much yet, I've become much more confident in what I post and know that I am posting these things for myself. I absolutely wish I could be as confident with Zoe is about her instagram but I am currently working on getting to that point where I can post something whenever and not obsess over the likes and comments I get. truly appreciate the both of you and the talk about the obsession over instagram is something I can completely relate to. Loved that chat with Zoe in the kitchen. It’s really important to be aware or make yourself aware of the fact that you are watching other people living instead of using that time to live yourself. It is so easy to just spend hours on Instagram or KZbin. But what do we get from it? So reminding ourself that we can use that time more wisely is very important if you want to live your life yourself. Or at least I personally think like that. I mean not everything is bad as Zoe said if you follow the right people they might help you to kind of grow yourself and get new ideas. Loved hearing some new aspects to that topic :)
