Beautiful! Your cooking is getting more Indian with each video 😅. It’s great to see the authenticity in the way you approach the culinary culture of India! I’m sure the Thali was really scrumptious 😊. Indian eating is actually about having a few elements on the plate - normally our everyday thali consists of dal, a portion of seasonal vegetables, rotis, rice, curd/raita, salad and chutney/pickle. Would love to see you make those additions next time. Coriander chutney is a game changer and really easy to make. Also try Indian curries with a side of a simple salad of onion, cucumber and tomatoes with a sprinkling of salt, pepper and lemon drops. It will add another layer to the foods flavour! Lots of love and keep these videos coming ❤❤

As a kid, I was jealous of the other kids who had pizza and sandwiches for lunch and I had parantha..lol Now as an adult in my 40s, NOTHING fills my soul like vegetarian Indian food. I have to eat it everyday…😊 You are an amazing cook! I can’t even cook any of these Indian dishes and I’ve been around it my whole life… I need more patience. 😊

Once the rice is cooked you take 2 spoons oil in a different pan, add cumin seeds to that, once they are popped, you add cooked rice to it. Will give you an amazing taste. Indian spices taste better when added in oil than boiling directly ☺️ but you seem like an amazing cook ❤️☺️

Ghee is slightly different than butter. Ghee is clarified butter. In butter Chicken, you have to add butter, not ghee. There are different kinds of ghee based on milk source (like from cow or waterbuffalo), preparation process ( impating color and texture either more on the buttery side or brownish grannular side) and use ( ghee made of waterbuffalo milk and cow milk ghee that is close to butter in color and texture is used for frying or deepfrying Indian breads like Pranthas, Kachoris etc while cow milk ghee of brownish color and granmular texture is more tastier and expensive and is used for making Zeera rice, Pulao, Biryani etc).

Also - the slices you should toast after the onions have browned, you toast the spices in with the onions for 30-40 seconds and then add tomatoes, etc. The toasting of the spices in the oil is essential to bring out the flavours and oils in the spices.
