The stew sauce dish should be eaten with a little for the proper taste. Usually raw onion as a taste enhancer is common in Iran. And the essential powdered Sumaq for kebabs wasn't mentioned at all.

Thanks for your support, unfortunately our food is underrated. I am happy u enjoy eating our authentic food. Persian food gives u the sense of comfort and satisfaction. The one who hasn’t tried our cuisine they definitely miss out the most delicious food . 😍😍

@Knight Rider Not so! Persia was the old name that Iran was referred to, untill Reza Shah asked the international community to refer to the country as Iran. You can see the interchangeability of both names in BBC Persian (which is aimed at Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and other Persian speaking communities in the region). Persian Empire contained numerous nationalities, but it main reference was the Iranian people of the Empire which consisted of several ethnicities.

We are talking about what Iran is referred to in English! I will reiterate the facts: Iran and Persia are used interchangeably in English, as per example of BBC Persian. The language of Iran is always referred to as Persian, not Iranian! One does never say, I speak Iranian, but Persian or Farsi! It may not be strictly accurate, but it had been used for a long time and is accepted as the norm. Language is not logic or mathematics! It is a living thing that changes with use and time. One of the principles of Linguistics, something that your inexperienced and immature mind would not have heard of! Another Iranian lady pointed the same thing, but you had to be rude to her too! Understand that one of the rules of using KZbin is debating politely. You could be banned from it for being rude and disrespectful to others!

@@koochooloo007 I want to reiterate Farhad F's comment to enlighten you as why it matters to Persian people not to be confused with Arabs (this does not concern the minority Arabs who live in Iran and used to live under the protection of Persian Empire). Due to historical events of Persian Empire being conquered by the Arabs In 633 AD, there exists a sensitivity about Iranians being mistaken by others as Arabs. That is the reason we object to Arabic music representing Persian food, which is part of our culture. This is the sentiment of majority of Persian people which should be respected.

"تار"، "سه تار، "سنتور"، "عود"، "قانون" ، "نی"، "دف" و همه ساز هایی که در موسیقی خاورمیانه و بالکان استفاده میشه ساز هایی هستن که ایرانیها اختراع کردن و حتی گیتار که همون تار مدرن پارسی هستش و مسلمونها به اسپانیا بردن و به نام اسپانیا متاسفانه ثبت شد. به گمونم بر اثر بیخردی و بی تفاوتی ما ایرانیان ، سنتور هم به نام چین ثبت شد همین اواخر...

Hi Jessica ,thank you for sharing this delicious video😋😉 and introducing Iranian food, just one point: Iranian stews are eaten by rice or bread, you should have put some of that Fesenjoon on the rice then eat it👌🏼. I recommend next time try khoresht Sabzi/Gheyme this way🤤

Cute little boy and a lovely family oriented vlog. Most Persian meals, especially Kebabs, and other dishes tried here cannot be made using cheap ingredients; it simply would not work. That's why they're often pricier than variations of kebabs from some other parts of the world. The stew served here is called "Fesenjoon" and as far as I'm aware is exclusively Persian/Iranian; best eaten with rice ofcourse. Lovely video; made me hungry big time though!

My ancestors go back to 8,000 years in Iran and I recently did genetic test and it says I’m 100% Persian and I would love to see my ancestral land but I will go to prison if I come to Iran. Hope one day I can visit Iran without getting into prison for no reason just because I don’t like ayatollahs I should not get jail sentence. we eat everything either with rice or bread(naan). they will taste more delicious this way. and as appetizer along eating these foods we eat onions or peppers or Tahdigs too

I have eaten my lunch just now, but this video makes me hungry again... Iranian foods are great. It is not because I am from Iran, because I tried various foods from other countries... I can say Iranian foods are delicious for everyone... You can try it and enjoy it without being from Iran. But it doesn't work for all of the countries.

As an Iranian I always say we have many problems in Iran, mainly sociopolitical, but our food is the best in the world. I don't even like cooking but I learned all my favorite Iranian dishes from my mother and sister because you just can't find the same level of quality in restaurants

Thank you for the amazing content, but there's one thing always bothering me on videos about iran. When western people want to add a music to it to make it more persianized they always use the tribal music of Arabic countries. Iran is a different country with different music and culture, although there's similarities between middle eastern communities but they are all different. I would be glad to introduce you some good iranian/persian music.

The stew is also usually eaten with rice. Next time you should try tahchin Zereshk polo morg. (Barberry rice & chicken) Ghorme sabzi( herb stew made of 12or more different herbs alot of aroma and taste. Also one of our national dishes) And for dessert I highly recommend bastani sonati ( traditional saffron ice cream) ✌️

For me if the food takes time to prepare then that’s a real food. You can’t go wrong with Safaron and zereshk (barberry) and Persian food has it all. Indian and Persian foods are the best.

You're not eating it right and they should have advised you on this. You need to pile your plate fully with rice first and I mean like a huge mound covering the whole plate, then add a dollop of butter into the middle of it and mix it all up and then add the kabab to the plate. I take the extra step of adding a raw egg yolk to the rice before mixing as well as this enriches the flavour even more so. You also need pieces of raw onion to add to the experience. It seems his only expertise is kabab. There are tons of other dishes that are extremely difficult to make and unlike anything else, such as ghormeh sabzi, fesenjan, baghali polo etc. If you want the best Persian food outside Iran come to London England. Molana is top notch!
