I sing this song all the time and practice it for choir now. It is a really beautiful and fun to sing piece of music. Especially the "The Room where it Happens" part. Btw if you haven't heard the musical is now on Disney plus . I totally recommend watching it.

We did this in my choir once and I sang the Peggy solo. This song always has a place in my heart.

When my school choir did this song, the person who was meant to do the peggy solo just didn't show up. We had to just sit on stage for like 15 minutes while someone tried to hunt her down. It was very embarrassing. She was eventually found, but didn't come back to do the solo, so someone who already had a solo and who was already stressing out took the solo. Oh yeah, did I mention that, since it was during the awkward transition period between lockdown and normal life, the show was split into three groups, so we had to perform it three times while missing one of our few choir members (we were quite a small choir). Let's just say the choir didn't really appreciate that. So I think I just have a personal vendetta against peggy, despite having never seen hamilton before, just because of choir. Sorry for going on a rant under your comment, I just feel like I needed to get that off my chest.
