The band directors hate the tuba section whenever we play this song because we blast the b flat as loud and as terribly as we possibly can, you can hear the tuba section over the entire band, but it’s fun and nobody has ever complained except the band director so we’re not gonna stop

First year in band. I was supposed to be drum line but got moved to bass drums. At first I was pissed and still slightly am, but I’m actually thankful bc this isn’t a super easy song to march to especially playing faster than you practice. Cool song either way. Love it.
