Something just occurred to me while I was watching the opening credits. As much as Paul Fusco demanded ALF be treated as a real-life actor, I'm surprised he didn't include him in the opening credits after the title text. For example, it should have been Starring Max Wright, Anne Schedeen, Andrea Elson, Benji Gregory, and Gordon Shumway as ALF.

As much as I enjoy watching episodes of this show, the one thing that really sticks out for me are those ridiculous and down right stupid customs and traditions from Alf's home planet, its like how much thought really went into those?? Seriously a child could have come up with something more plausible. Everytime Alf utters those words "Back in Mellmack".....and I start rolling my eyes, such lame and downright lazy writing!!
