New songs, old instruments. It makes me realize that if these instruments were commonplace hundreds of years ago, then people playing them skillfully and collaboratively must have made melodies like these with them. How many such tunes must we have lost to the centuries? Countless no doubt. But hearing this one I can imagine what it was like to be there, in the corner of a smoky room, where a troupe of itinerant troubadours would regale the peasants with news from afar, stories, and music. I can imagine what it was like to be there... and I can imagine what it was like to be them. They weren't much different from you and I, just born with different ressources and technology. I've always fantasized about taking one of them on a tour of our world. Of showing them all the marvelous things we discovered, invented, and built; Of showing them how the windmills transmit their power to copper wires and light up my apartment; How freshwater is pumped through pipes, and wastewater collected; How my computer beams information to satellites hurled around the earth at a speed matching gravity. And in a way, I can. Because they were homo sapiens, just like me. We are what they were. My story is a continuation of their story. All the wonders I experience now, they experience them through us, in a way.

He fought wholeheartedly, win so many, and lost some too. And in the process, he became the legend that other knight respected, adored by so many as their savior and patron.
