You have z^2 x in each case, the order is just reversed. The order that you multiply doesn't change the product. 3 x 4 = 12 and 4 x 3 = 12, so z^2x is equal to xz^2.

Up until 6 years ago, I was afraid of maths, and mr. Greene turned that around for me. Because of him, I began to understand math to a level that I wasn't able in all my years of school. In 2016, at the age of 32, I've had such a confidence growth in math that I went to college, in the Robotics field. This year, I fnished and I now have a master degree in Robotics. So, I just wanted to tell everyone here that it is possible, and you can (re)learn math at any age. I'm only watching this for entertainment now, and as a refresher. Thank you, mr. Greene for all the free content and effort. You really are a life changer.

Seriously, I will be eternally grateful to KZbin educators like you. You guys are the real teachers/professors on here than actual school. I personally have been using educational KZbin videos ever since high school till now- college. People like you deserve to go viral and gain more of views and subscribers more than any social media influencers. May God bless you and give you the desires of your heart even more. Thank you for your dedication and everything you do on here. You really are giving students hope to learn, making everything so effortless, and inspiring students to not give up. I’m always reminded of that one quote by Nelson Mandela: Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world. You, sir,and those like you on here are one of the agents contributing to this agenda. Your efforts and the amount of work you put into this don’t go unnoticed. Even thank you doesn’t do you enough justice. Just know, you are changing thousand of lives through this. We appreciate you more than you know. Keep up the great work. I wish you many more success in everything you do.

I'd be a math genius by now if I'd had this guy long ago when I was lost in life and failing Algebra 1 in the 9th Grade. I'm getting into Machine Learning and the Linear Algebra that goes with it and rather than be lost (AGAIN) there I'm going all the way back to the fundamentals with this course. It's WORKING. It's amazing (and of course obvious) that the most fundamental things from Algebra 1 and elementary math that are discussed here (ex. Distributive Property of Multiplication) are used time and again in the Linear Algebra course from MIT that Strang teaches. (And of course you can find that course here on KZbin). Thanks so much for putting the work into make this course, and please ALWAYS keep doing the many examples. I'll be doing every minute of this course and the companion Algebra 1 Practice course to recover all my lost and half-developed math skills.

Hi, thank you for these videos. I'm 67, I was very good at maths and sciences during my school years. I took A level maths with additional maths (I live in the UK and was planning to be a doctor) but through a disaster in the family just before starting the course I couldnt concentrate and dropped out. I have taken a very different career path in my life. Although I was able to solve equations etc. I also felt that I didn't understand the 'why' behind everything, I just did it because that was the way I was shown. I had a look at some of Prof. Dave's maths lessons and was hooked back in again. I wanted something more thorough though and was fortunate to stumble across your excellent series. I was a teacher for part of my working life and I can really hear the teacher in you, with your very clear explanations and your methodical and detailed movement through the subject ( youve obviously been doing this a long time). I dropped out during Calculus and I wondered if you had any plans to do a series on Calculus. Thank you again for the time and effort you've put into this, it's absolutely first class.

Thank you! I simply love this channel. And also the way you organize the Math Subjects, how you explain, how dedicated you are in your works, how you provide materials and resources for later practices, it's an honor. And I not only think that you are very underrated, you are. To clarify: I am a high school student who find maths difficult, not because I am bored by the subject and I find math not interesting... But because I wasn't introduced mathematics by teachers the correct way. They demotivated me by the way they taught me in school, all those waste efforts... the Education System here is rather depressing. So, I've lost all interests, now I lack practice which leads to failure (which demotivates me even more). But now, I shall re-learn from the bottom-up! Hoping so that again, I can find the beauty of this amazing tool we invented, no... rather discovered by men to understand the universe. Again, thank you.

Algebra 2 is very similar to Algebra 1, it just adds some additional topics. Good luck with your class and thanks for watching.

I didnt learn algebra in 8th grade, I was in virtual, and i had a hard time understanding. Well, I am taking my PSAT tomorrow. Im pumping this video out in 2.5 days. I can say with 99% certainty that algebra wont be a problem now. I sincerely thank you for this video. Also thanks for not making this video expensive. The best part about this video is that it is both amazing and free 😊 Side note: The only way I’m getting this done in so little time is by watching it in 2x speed and doing the examples with you.

how'd it go? I'm in the same situation, with not learning algebra because of virtual.

I learned algebra in a different language when I was a kid and didn't know I was studying algebra and it was a different branch of mathematics. Know I have to relearn algebra and a lot of other branchs of mathematic in a structured and ordered manner in english and this video helps a lot. Thank you so much for this content.

Great work on the video! As a bored person in Prealgebra (it's so easy), I am trying to find the best Algebra 1 course. When I found this one, it blew my mind! Because of this, I will probably use your Algebra 2, and other great courses. Looking forward to it!!

I have never such a informative long video oo this is truly dedication. I have a exam tommorow on algebra 1 and geometry eoc so I don’t think this video will be the best route now:,) I’m not sure what’s gonna be in the exam and I have less than a few hours… but I will definitely watch this after exams are done just in case I come to need this!
