13:38 how do you know what you can and can’t plug in?

You know that there's a value that can't plug in for x when you try to do a calculation and you get an answer that doesn't make sense or you get an error. For instance, for the function y = 1/x, if you try plugging in x = 0, you get y = 1/0, which results in an error, since you can't divide 1 by 0. Therefore, x = 0 can't be plugged into the function; however, you could plug in x = 2 since y = 1/2 is a valid result.
