I thought when you multiply or divide inequalities, you reverse the sign. How come on #2 ,you keep the sign the same. Sign meaning greater than or less than.

Q4 reasoning is wrong. It's not 10+2.15, the 2.15 dollars is part of the 10 dollars. For instance at 4 trips option B would cost 3.15 X 4 = 12.60 where option A is still under $ 10 within the smart card cost. Different formula needed or word problem is stated wrong by saying the 2.15 is deducted from the smart card.
