how would u use the second walker thing and turn it into an actual walker?
@necoyuri3 жыл бұрын
Since the operating point of the Hoeckens linkage is on the upper side, the actual walker uses parallel linkage and a pantograph to transmit it downward. like this → kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6auaqinrMeBY6M

I think the video was too fast and I couldn’t see what buttons you were pressing

Sorry, for which walker would you like to know the buttons used?

@@necoyuri i'd like for the first one, because when i tried to make it myself i kinda got messy with the collision layers XD

@@superslime16th If you want to know more about the first one, you can watch this video where I actually record myself making it. ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/an_CnHWZgcatkJI ) ...but now that I've watched it myself, I think it's a little too fast too... The cursor is not in the picture, is it easier to understand if I don't use the shortcut keys?

This is awesome program, we can learn many things in 2D and develop to real mechanism. Well done.

How do you keep it upright?
@necoyuri3 жыл бұрын
It's a little sneaky, objects keep upright by setting "inertiaMultiplier" to infinity (+inf) . if you want to look like naturally, loosely fix a object that fixed angle by hinge and spring or hinge that "hingeConstant" set appropriate value. www.dropbox.com/s/8aodr9nz34nzm1i/480.png?dl=0

Wow! Never heard of this software. You are so skilled. Is this software good for prototyping 3d mech movements?
@necoyuri2 жыл бұрын
thanks! Algodoo is 2D-simulation software, so it may be difficult to reproduce 3D movements.. I think it's possible to recreate some of the mechanisms in a flat surface.

Wow!...You got some skills here! Great job. The only issue is you're using the Japanese language in Algodoo tutorial(how-to) and we don't know Japanese so it's kind of...Would be great if you use the English language for these tutorials onwards. But I can tell that you've got good skills and I'm guessing that you have" that" famous marble channel 😉😂

Thanks! From the next time, I'll pay attention to set language to english👍
