Complete newbie here, but why do you put the data into an sql table? Why can't you just store the data in python itself? Is it a data size problem? Or even better just read the data direct from the stream and not store it at all? Would love a pro to learn me 🙂

I might have missed it but isn't it better to check the ticker message for a true candle close before putting it in the DB? Because the candles from binance do have that, I think the character is 'x' .. this way you wont end up with a huge amount of useless millisecond ticker data in your database.

Would it be possible to limit the number of entries in the database tables for each token to only an hour or so?

You can create a function based on either real time, candle time, or just a ticker check, that checks the N amount of rows in the database and delete the first N rows. That will keep the database from growing out of control.

Good suggestion from wicked gummy! An even better one would be to implement a delete query which is managing that you only have the rows for the last N minutes.

Super tutorials thx for your work PC: when i try to use global variable like in this video all doing perfectly in jupiter notebook, but if i exact same code in regular *.py file got an error NameError: name '*variable name*' is not defined what is the problem might be? thx

Thx for watching my stuff buddy. Using Jupyter or .py doesn't make a difference for the global variable definition. There has to be something else wrong. I guess you are not getting the server message so that the global variable is never defined. Can you double check that?

Anyways as i will store the messages from stream to db, and retrieve, think the is no big problem. But the fact this global variable didnt work, make me questions...

The fact is, BTC is the future and the question most people ask themselves is - if this is right time to invest? I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in this space in general or probably just naive, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I’d say that more emphasis should be put into trading, since it is way profitable than holding. Trading went smooth for me as I was able to raise over 9 BTC when I started at 2.5 BTC in just 5 weeks of implementing trades with signals and insights from Jim Detterick, I would advise you all to trade your asset rather than hold for a future you aren’t sure about.
