In this video I am walking through Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain (Andalucia) on a hot summer day in 2021. It is the most visited place in Spain with more than 2 million visitors a year. You will see the breathtaking architecture within the Nasrid palaces. This walk tour ends at a lush garden area. The Alhambra, an ancient Nasrid citadel and palace, is the most renowned building of the Islamic historical legacy with its many cultural attractions and architectural elements that make Granada a popular destination among the tourist cities of Spain. When you visit Alhambra, it gets perfectly clear why it is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a top tourist attraction, the most visited monument in Spain, the best of the best castles in the whole country, and one of the most famous tourist attractions in the World overall. There are only a few places in the world that can be compared to Alhambra in Spain. Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of four rivers, the Darro, the Genil, the Monachil and the Beiro. The city sits at an average elevation of 738 m above sea level, yet is only one hour by car from the Mediterranean coast, the Costa Tropical. It was easy, I only needed a negative Covid test. It was a bit more difficult over the last few weeks but it’s back to where it was again = negative Covid test, no quarantine

It is not influenced by North Africa, it is from Arabia, the Muslims who entered the Iberian Peninsula, came from the Caliphate of Baghdad, later they became independent creating the Caliphate of Cordoba and later independent kingdoms, such as Granada.
