How to Wear Ihram

This video demonstrates how to wear Ihram for Hajj and Umrah. Ahmed from Alhannah Islamic Clothing shows viewers how to wear Hajj towels securely and modestly. He explains how to position the bottom hajj towel and how to roll it over a hajj belt so it stays secure and properly covers the awrah (private parts.) He then explains how to wear the top towel during hajj, including how to adjust it so the right shoulder is exposed for Tawaf. The video ends with tips to learn how to properly wear an Ihram.

I didn't knew properly how to wear ehram at first but I still wore but that was very uncomfortable during whole Umrah 😅 now watching this video Infront of HARAM on Zain public wifi. Hope it works for my second Umrah ❤️

the belt looks like a "obi ita" its used to make your obi (belt) on ur kimono straight for Japanese kimono. its cool its used for Ihram too.

As-salaamu Alaykum, That is a great question-thanks for asking! The dish dash I have referenced in the video is the garment or thawb I am wearing. I am wearing a kufi (cap) on my head and a garment under my Ihram for the video only. However, while you are in a state of Ihram for Hajj or Ummrah it would not be permissible to wear anything under the Ihram towels--only the towels special hajj belt and sandals. As salaamu Alaykum, while in a state of Ihram it is not permissible to for men to wear headwear, such as a kufir or any garments under the Ihram, such as a thobe. I am wearing a thobe and kufi only for the demonstration in the video. If I were on Hajj in a state of Ihram it is permissible ONLY to wear the ihram towels, an unstitched hajj belt and sandals that show the top of the foot. Jazak Allah Khair. Thanks for watching!

Salaam, the general consensus among scholars is that items such as the following are acceptable to wear while in a state of Ihram: Money belts to hold money and other valuables including passports, id cards, etc. (such as the brother in the video is wearing), stitched backpacks, sandals and wristwatches are all acceptable to wear while on Hajj or Umrah. If there is any doubt what items are acceptable to wear or carry while in a state of Ihram, we suggest presenting the question to your imam prior to leaving for Hajj or Umrah. Jazak Allah Khair!

In our video we have explained that the dish dash is worn for demonstration purposes only and we intended the disclaimer to include our kufi as well. To clarify we have added a disclaimer to the description. Insh Allah, we will add a reference in our video to mention that wearing a kufi is not acceptable as well.
