I remember ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan said in an interview that they went to a music concert where when the concert was ended, all the musicians from around the world were very tired when Nusrat Sahab and the party decided to perform a qawwali, and slowly all musicians started gathering and after a while the arena was packed by musicians, they did not understood the language but were deeply connected to the qawwali, This seems to be that very mehfil he was talking about! Also, young Rahat Sahab looks so much like his father, Tha king of harmonium Sir Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan.
