Day 3 Gairoli Patal to Bedni Bugyal
Trek: 4 km | Duration: 3-4 hours | Altitude: approx 11,600 ft | Altitude gain: approx 2600 ft.
After an early breakfast, continue on the trek to Bedni Bugyal. The trail ascends through lush meadows, offering breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding peaks. Encounter grazing livestock, such as sheep and horses, adding a touch of pastoral charm to the landscape. As you climb higher, the air becomes crisp and clean, invigorating your senses. The path winds through a diverse range of flora, including vibrant wildflowers that carpet the meadows in a colorful tapestry. Upon reaching Bedni Bugyal, you'll be greeted by a vast expanse of alpine beauty, with snow-capped peaks forming a majestic backdrop. The reflection of Trishul Peak in the serene Bedni Kund is a sight to behold. According to local folklore, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are believed to have been married at this sacred lake. Establish camp at Abin Kharak amidst this natural wonderland and prepare for a night under the starry sky.
