My 3/three favorite squash players are: Paul Coll, Farag and Gawad.

I like the new camera angle at 1:15. It provides a neat perspective.

Really really didn't like Farag's cheap plays in first 7 minutes, he resorts to gamesmanship when cornered / stressed. Fishing for lets and strokes when there were none, calling a clearly good ball down at 6 min. Its right when they say a man's true character is not known until placed in a stressful situation. He's a perfect gentleman all other times and because he's a great player, we rarely see him in these situations. I much prefer Coll as a person, as he is genuine on court and what you see is what you get with him.

I totally agree... Coll is a true sportsman... farag is like a spoilt baby sometimes.. wish he would man up and play squash.. he is a great player but let's himself down sometimes.. too much fist pumping and jumping around at wrong times...

I agree with you Tony however Coll is not better, he does the same tricks...indeed most of squash players behave the same way...

I don't think there is anything cheap in appealing. He was only appealing to get away with something he thought he had a choice. Clearly he was mistaken and was not rewarded

Farag was calling those kind of balls, but when you call them you need to fully commit to calling them because if probilities

Coll needs to make his drop shot less obvious.
@grantdewrance56565 жыл бұрын
his drops are just merely to move the opponent, cross court drops are more for outright winners
@MervynMaistry4 жыл бұрын
This has less to do with Coll and more to do with Farag"s brilliant ability to read any opponent.

Put a moustache on Farag and a microphone in his hand and you’ve got Freddie Mercury in his later years.

He was caught in Hong Kong Open 2019. His Instagram page said he was right.

yes he steps out before playing the ball gives him an advantage, i play someone similiar and I kept calling it, it takes at least a half second or more away from his movement if I keep correcting him. So basically it takes his movement away almost like a hold.
