The man being interviewed is Professor John Henry, a British doctor who specialised in toxicology. He often appeared in the media in drug-related stories. He was wasn't embarrassed by this interview, in fact he often joked about it. He's passed away now.

Thank you for this info! Finally i know who he was. I just read some extra info. Found out that he died ~7 years later after this episode because of transplanted kidney failure. Seemed like a wholesome and awesome human being. Thanks Ali G and John Henry for the memories. Till this date, still, Ali G and Borat is the only comedy that actually makes me laugh.

I remember watching this when it first came out and couldnt stop laughing. As silly as it seems its also ingenious how he sets the guy up being interviewed. A few times the guy got angry at ali but eventually couldnt keep a straight face. Absolutely hilarious even though i have seen it many times it never fails to make me laugh. He also done an american version too.

@@gibsonms To be honest I could not be sure whether Staines was the destination he mentioned. I assumed it would be Staines, because that is where he lives. And I have to say that I wasn't in the 566 on any day when the driver drove it particularly well. It sounds like he says Riseley, but that does not make sense, since there is no single bus between Egham and Riseley, you have to change in Reading.

It basically saved my life. I’ve had chronic pain for years, and usually I stick to CBD, but I take THC (caps) before bed if I’m really in pain. I don’t take it to get wasted. Otherwise I’d be killing my liver with Tylenol, which I still take at times, but not as often as I used to. I just wouldn’t take 10 mg on an empty stomach during the day unless I was planning a long nap. For that, it’s been a literal life saver. I’m not a big drug user and only vaped a couple of times in the last few years. Before that, never. I didn’t even drink until I was almost 30 and for a while that certainly worked for pain relief - until of course it didn’t and cannabis basically saved me from alcoholism. I never knew what being pain free was until I tried cannabis.

Ali G has many really awesome interviews, man he pushes buttons and ask the best questions 😂 Ecstacy is interesting, it releases almost all of both "happy hormoces", serotonin and dopamine in the brain at once, u can't really overdoze on it since it just won't give any effect after the depots are emptied, though u can get so happy that u want to dance and can kind of dance til u die of dehydration, but still much less dangerous than alcohol There are no death numbers on ecstasy alone, it is almost always a combination of other drugs at the same time I am NOT condoning or suggesting for any1 to try it though, it is illegal in most countries and there is probably a reason for it Moonshine used to be sold a lot in Sweden, it was always about he same percentage as normal vodka(38-42%), it is illegal to produce at home since the state has monopoly on it so that they can get income and tax revenue from it

Experts should have some experience in the matter. You'll never get that first time feeling ever again, no matter how much you take. Respect that, and just enjoy, or don't do it at all. Most drugs don't kill. The lack of water, food and sleep does. I say this as a unofficial expert with 28 active years in the field of Narcotica. Dont use heavy drugs and alcohol at the same time. And if Molly and Sosa are to rough on you, drink sugar and fruit (juices) to put it down a bit. Both hate fresh vitamins and sugar.

Surely making weed legal just creates competition and lower prices (and stronger produce) from the illegal dealers, so I'm not 100 percent on the idea that it's safer in the long run. Of course the culture and lifestyle of a nation will have a great influence over the final outcome. The worst addiction is probably still social media in front of the wheel though, lol
