I was a kid when he fought Sonny Liston and I remember my family cheering for him because they said Liston was a dirty fighter. My oldest sister met Muhammad Ali several times as she used to work near Rockefeller Plaza and NBC Studios. She said every time she saw him he took the time to talk to everyone! As a kid I loved him and was so proud of him. I still am!🌼🌹🌺💞

No way to hold back the tears watching this. I've been watching so many videos of Mohamed Ali lately. I was a white kid growing up in Oakland in the 1970s, I can only say as a result of seeing him from the start of my life that spirit has been with me my whole life now. I'm 49 now, I hope everyone in this world can really see thru videos and read these stories by guys like myself, of a time when things were so much different it's hard to believe. Thank you girls for sharing his last moments with us. Every word of this is followed with a tear. Rest please god give him rest, he fought the fight non of us could've ever imagined, yet never heard anyone ever say they heard him complain.

RIP Greatest Ever. In my mind, you became even greater and more courageous and generous after you were diagnosed with Parkinson disease; and that's how you beat Parkinson. Others may have taken it as an excuse to do less or just seek seclusion and god knows they would have had a million valid excuse for doing so. You chose to lend every bit of yourself to help others, guide others and stand up for those who had no one to stand up for them. Not even Parkinson could stop a champ like you.

let me say this: on a cloudy day in San Francisco, I was taking a sip of water out of the school water Fountain, and I heard a kid yell, " Cassius Clay" is fighting Sonny Liston Tonight. That's when I followed his career. He was the Fastest Heavyweight Champion, best looking, called the rounds, backed up what he said, and he showed love to all. He was a American icon, bigger than boxing and all sports. I never forgot his fight with Cleveland " Big Cat " Williams, and the Ali Shuffle. Ali had a great personality, and he inspired me to be great. he was a beautiful man, and will be missed.

He was so pretty, he couldn't help but have beautiful daughters and sons!! I loved what this man stood for and because he reminds me so much of my own dad (RTP Daddy) He was so big in physicality, but even bigger in his generosity of spirit. The bold courage he lived in front of the world is what made so many adore him. I personally came to adore him even more throughout his journey with Parkinson's disease. Even with the physical limitations, you could still see his vitality and determination My sincerest condolences to his family and closest friends. Indeed the world has lost a humanitarian giant.You may be gone to rest now, but your light will forever be with us. RIP Champ...you have run the race, you have finished your course....well done!! xoxo

Mohammad Ali R.i.P. The uncrowned King of the world. The One who did not wait for the Messaih to come but walked as one the Messaih would have walked. Charitable to all who saw in need. Mohammad A great Reformer ., reforming those who are opppressed and reformer of the OPPRESSOR as well. He cared for the uncared as the Messaih would have done it.. Jameelah and Rasheeda thank you for sharing your DAD with the world. Thank you to your entire family. Thank God he had many wives and many children. HOpefully one of his grandchildren will take after him. Or someone will take after him and Protest the present day wars , the rebellion is Syria being created , the invasion of Iraq. These are unending wars, these killings and creating of millions of refugees and more killing . War does as Mohammad Ali said Kill Kill and more Kill. I hope and pray all these present day wars stop and the random killing of innocent stops as soon as possible.

I agree. Well put. I miss him and never met him. His strength to do what he felt right. I adore his family so close. His wife so there always no matter what. He was so blessed to even survive this long. It should teach all living humans a lesson. Look at how we are losing the people we admire and cherish from afar. going fast. That should be a lesson to all of us. No matter who u r. We all have THAT LAST breath to breathe. There is no difference as a human. Stop wasting time hating on others.

😢 it's sad he wasn't the same man as he use to be
@yukin26948 жыл бұрын
We all die from some reason, but to say it is sad he was not the same. That is also an act of aging and dying. He lived longer than many who had less medical issues. He lived to see all his children grow up and share with him. He was well loved and a strong wife for real. None who live beyond your youth will be the same always either. This is the best way to say this, otherwise it sort of sound demeaning. He is at rest and out of misery now. His family get to rest their hard years seeing their dad go through this. This is not to make u sound mean. Just the way it sound s to us. He did so much even after he became ill. He was not a racist as some say. Just a man who believed all should be treated equal, and not mentally diminished of who put them here and for what reason.
