But she took him to court and got big settlement against him... it ruined his practice etc... she was not playing with him....

Coming from wealthy parents myself, I worked many odd jobs because my father wanted me to make my own success and never spoiled me. Interestingly, one of my employers got to be friends with my mom and realized my parents were wealthy. One day he invited me to his office explained to me that I had two choices in my life, the Hard way which is to try and make my own success, or get on my fathers good side and simply inherit everything when he passes. I laughed at my boss and said, I'd rather make my own success. Well, over a decade passed, and I failed one after another with business opportunities and jobs, and then my father actually did pass away. I ended up inheriting everything with my mom, and I think back and realized my boss was probably right, it would've been a long and hard road for me if I had to rely on my own to make my success. Thank goodness some of us have the safety net of our wealthy families to fall back on!

Next alternative was to enter the military to pay for my education, I was denied because of my health condition. Next Alternative was to apply for financial aid to go to a community college and trade school, but my father didn't want to sign for anything to help me get financial aid and since I was under 25yo, I was considered a dependent that needed my parent's signature. So, I had to enter into the working world. I couldn't hold any job as it was difficult to keep up with the rest of the workers, so I would only last maybe three months at one job or another. My life has been a complete failure, but I never gave up trying and pushing. Yes, I dream of experiencing the success you've had, but I guess I'm just not smart enough or perhaps just too slow mentally. Thank GOD that I was at least Lucky! Phew! *sigh of relief!*
