I find writing out the steps and marking myself against the schema helpful, then moving onto videoing myself examining a teddy bear or non-med friend and marking myself that way helpful.

Wish I had this last year! I got through OSCEs all right but it wasn’t easy - best way I found to prepare was coming up with my own OSCE stations and keep practicing with friends and like Ali said, practicing for the viva questions with the common, chronic (stable) conditions - though our viva questions were often completely unrelated to the examination findings - for example, my respiratory station was someone with a pneumonectomy scar but my viva questions and data interpretation were all on pneumonia. The two key tips for passing OSCEs are looking and sounding confident and not doing anything that would the patient in danger.

Does anyone have a list of things for the feasible conditions/scenarios that may come up in OSCEs?
