Financially speaking, committee doesn't make sense. I see it as a 0% interest loan. Now that sounds great if you are one of the first few people to get committee, but if you are one of the last people to receive it then your money has lost value to inflation. A simple "hack" to make free money from a committee is to receive money in the first or second round. Put that money in a money market fund. The money sitting in the fund will earn profit. And for future contributions, take money from the fund. Some people will say they have difficulty saving money and a committee allows them to save money. They should learn about SIP. In short: committee only benefits those who are able to receive money in the initial rounds.
