Few tips to avoid fraud or minimum ur risk. 1) Set ur daily card limit 10k,50k. 2) Make a Fixed deposit of excess money, Never keep ur money in your account. Invest in fd,Rd which can be controlled by u. 3) Don't keep all ur money in a single account, 4) keep minimum money in account which is linked to UPI or other online transactions app.

Our banking system is useless. My husband faced a fraud and nothing happened. Proper formal mails and letters were given to the bank and to the cyber crime department within 10-15 mins of the fraud. Still nothing happened. The bank credited the amount for 60 days and locked that amount. And after that took back the money stating we dint find any fraud.

Same happened with me, but I had report to cybercrime via phone 1930, so they freeze the scammer account , only chance to get money once the amount has been freezed, still I'm chasing with police and honestly they told to get update from crime cell team however These are not very helpful cause after the report the police or cyber cell team will be stereotypes without information

@divas there are no such regulations by RBI. I spent hours combing through their circulars and notifications on their website. The closest mention is “unauthorised transactions” where neither the user or bank is at fault. And the way it’s written it’s very easy to prove that its users wrongdoing/ negligence. And even if the case that RBI protected me. Aamn janta doesn’t know how to act on this right of ours. I don’t know how. Do I go to bank and create a scene? Will they not help me then since I am the arse now. Do I find a lawyer? Aren’t they expensive? How do I find a lawyer etc etc
