I LOVE my brush guards! After I have my brushes in their guards, I pull them through so there is excess mesh sticking out past the bristles. Then I take a cup and stand the brushes with the bristles facing downwards into the cup and let them dry this way. Since the brush guard is the only thing touching the bottom of the cup, the brushes keep their shape & any water that is still in the brushes will run into the cup & NOT the Ferrule. This way I have no worries of excess water ruining the bond between the brush handle & Ferrule or the Ferrule & bristles!! 💕

Hi I was just thinking about cleaning my makeup brushes today but I always had a hard time doing so because it takes me a long time cleaning them. Your videos are so inspiring and I feel good knowing I am using the right products (beauty blender soap) to clean my tools.

I love my make up brushes so I clean them right after use, amen. It feels so luxurious to have clean brushes every time. The same refers to my BB. I decided to make brush cleaning a part of my makeup routine, so it doesn't feel a nuisance at all. Just some cool jazz music and off we go:)

Enjoyed watching this video, I wash my beauty blender by running it under the tap then squeeze the excess water from the blender. Meanwhile take a small piece of aliminium foil and put a couple of drops of olive oil and some washing up liquid on the foil, and mix. Take the beauty blender and rub into the mixture until all the dirt has gone and then rinse under the tap they come very clean and good as new x

I use London Brush Company /Sian Richards soap for my most costly and natural hair brushes..and for my other ones I use a Swedish solid soap for silk fabrics, K.A. Almgrens sidentvål or a Galltvål ( bile soap ) and tea tree oil and cleanse my brushes and the handles after every use. For cream products any kind of vegetable oil ( olive, jojobaoil, coconut, rapeseed.. ) a little on a disposable cotton pad and brush excess off and prep before washing. The sigma brush mitt is great for a good cleaning...and the brush sleeves are essential for a good brushcare.

I first break down cream or liquid with baby oil, then soak the brushes in baby shampoo for 10 mins. Finally I wash it over a bar of soap. Rinse with water. Spray alcohol. Wet it over night. Once in a month, condition the brush with hair conditioner too.

Thanks you so much! I was looking for this! Can you do a video detailing the brush form according the use? I can’t afford the brushes you use right now and I’m new with make up, so I got some cheaper but I’m not sure which one is the best to use according to the task and sometimes you use a dark brush and I can’t say which one it is. 🤞🏽 thanks!

I like the Sigma brush shampoo. It is fragrance free, while so many other brush cleaners and soaps are not. I’m super sensitive to fragrance so it is important that my brushes don’t smell. I’ve heard dermatologists recommend baby shampoo or whatever you use to wash your face, but they are a bit too gentle to get my brushes clean.

Marisela Guillen I never use a brush twice. I use about 12 brushes per client, so the night before I have clients I organise brushes deppending on the number of clients I have. I am so blessed to have that many brushes so I never use the same brush twice. Back when I had 5 brushes I would use that Pink cleanser feom MAC then I would spray Parian Spirit Brush Cleanser. It's the best!
