Hi! I really enjoy your videos! I used to model in Solidworks and then I discover a hole new creative world, designing with polygons in Modo. Now I love that program and also the quality of the renders you can achieve. But recently I forced myself to dive into another challenge, and I thought modeling with surfaces was the tool missing. So I choose Alias, and here I am. There isn't to much tutorials around so I really appreciate all the knowledge you are sharing in your videos!! keep it up!!! im in sponge mode. p.s: maybe in a near future the next challenge will be algorithmic modeling with grasshopper.. but for now.. baby steps in Alias!!

i love the car, a very prominent design language, nice profile. where do you get inspiration from? do you look at existing cars, or what else do you get your idea for shapes from?
@HandleBar3D4 жыл бұрын
Vercetti I’m not exactly sure, I just had the the design in my head. And slowly worked it out through trial and error,

Great work. Is it possible to make this type of design in SolidWorks/NX/Creo ?
@HandleBar3D3 жыл бұрын
I think with NX you can. I’ve never seen the others do surfacing so no idea 🤷♂️

Great work and video! Do you further explain the method of using the control patch you used on the rear fender in any of your other videos?
@HandleBar3D5 жыл бұрын
Adam Kenney I don’t think I did, basically I used a patch to project align multiple surfaces to, making everything “live” in the same curvature plane

Yo men you got the best Review/Tutorials regarding Alias on the KZbin.Could you please make tutorial to show how to use Alias from scratch? I found couple tutorials but they don't explain basic things how to draw a curve and how to connect those curves and lines together.

So glad I found your channel - very motivational. I've worked with Rhino and Modo before, and now I'm just starting out with Alias. What version of Alias are you using? How can I make the interface dark like in your video?
@HandleBar3D5 жыл бұрын
I'm using Alias Automotive 2020 but you can use Alias Surface 2020 also, You can change the colors in preferences, or download mine in my website.
