He got this cool award and also Guinness Record for longest held note in a song. BMI presented Curci with the Million-airs award for "More Than Words Can Say". According to BMI's website, only 1,500 songs have achieved Million-air status (one million air plays) among the 4.5 million songs by 300,000 BMI represented artists. One million performances is the equivalent of approximately 50,000 broadcast hours, or more than 5.7 years of continuous airplay.

Guys, I am still a HUGE FAN. I remember buying this cassette tape when it dropped. I loved every song, memorized the entire album. But, now where can I find it on MP3? If someone has a download link for me, that would be awesome. I don't mind paying for music, of course! I just can't find it now. Only a couple of the songs are on youtube. I need more.

I didn't either, and consider myself a huge Heart fan. I also find it interesting that Mike DeRosier and Roger Fisher are still buddies,{to this day} being that they were both involved with a certain girl in Heart.

Michael was involved with Ann, the manager of Heart, Nancy with Roger, the younger brother. Nancy later fell in love with DeRosier, the drummer... So, that band was replaced...

I had no idea that the 3 guys fired from Heart joined two guys from Sheriff to form Alias. I might have payed more attention had I known at the time. Have to watch the Behind the Music story of Heart again to see how it happened that Fisher, Fossen, and Derosier were fired. This newly formed group of guys must not have lasted long in this form.

Oh I did... after the crap Arnold pulled and is still pulling with Steve and Freddy, they had to create a new band and to this day Arnold has not paid them any of the royalties from Sheriff, despite being court ordered to do so.

When I'm With You was the band Sheriff. When they split up in 1985, the singer Freddy Curci and guitarist Steve DeMarchi formed ALIAS.

From just listening to this song I could be hearing Foreigner, Rainbow, Bad Company, REO ...many of the big groups of that era. I guess there was only so much room at the top. Or maybe their record company wasn't investing enough money in them on music videos & promotion.

This whole thing comes off as disingenuous from Capitol and to a lesser extent the Heart contingent. No one predicted the explosion of Nirvana and Seattle but the heart guys bailed in the middle of the 1990 tour and I'm fairly sure Capitol pooped their pants and dumped their support and their A&R person...I think Curci & DeMarchi got screwed.

After recording 1982’s Private Audition the Wilson sisters fired the drummer (Derosier) & Bass player (Fossen). Lead guitarist Roger Fisher had already left Heart 2 years prior. All 3 of these former Heart members formed the group Alias. The only original member who remained in Heart, except the 2 Wilson sisters, was Howard Leese.

They got potential but maybe disconnection between member from the beginning cant keep them together for long..and the grunge era came too..
