Lovely video, I love Alicante and exploring, at the bars next to the beach you can have a glass of wine and bowl of crisps.The castle is fantastic with amazing views. Definitely a good long weekend trip.

There is a lift from the main road/prom at the bottom of the castle, you can drive up to the castle too from the road at the back, the lift is easy and cheap,

Hi Lisa mark, I have been to alicante it is much more upmarket than Benidorm the people with the money go there. There is a lift so for up to the castle if you go from the sea front but then still a little walk obviously to get to the top but the views are lovely. Another great vlog thankyou ❤

There was a Chinese at the far end of the front don't know if it is still there. I stayed there a week about 7 years ago right in the centre. OMG was very noisy all night long it is a Benidorm for the Spanish, groups of young Spanish go there and just let rip as they are away from home. It was crazy. But is a nice town, nice beach. Love watching you guys, so funny, down to earth and very informative. Great editing and filming you really capture the vibe of the places.

Went from benidorm to alicante on the tram its a realy nice way to get around the coast. It was like going back to civilization compared to beny, those trees are lovely I wondered what they were called.

Loved the video those trees with the roots on the top just look really strange. That tiled floor looks like it going up and down its very strange to look at it must feel strange to walk along. It's like a big optical illusion.

Lisa we know how you feel about that path when we first saw it and just before we started walking on it we thought the path was uneven as we had never been there before and we went their on what holiday reps call a blanket tour, it’s a very good optical illusion and makes your brain think not safe lol, oh and that Amelia hotel between the beach and harbour is where you will find quite a lot of flight crews on stop overs when they run out of flying hours or they’ve done the late night flights as well as holiday guests,

Hi both it's so much fun walking round with you.many years ago we were in Alicante and the wavie pavements made me a bit sickly.but a lovely place ,You got a bargain again with your dresses,and the tree was so big can't believe the roots . lovely harbour with the boats and the enormous ship.glad checco was ok once back at the van. castle looked great up.on the hill .we never got there to much for us at the time can't wait for the next blog xPR🐕🚍

There’s a lift up the castle, just past the railway station across the road there’s a walk way in to a passage way which leads to a lift all maned up.

Hi both another great Vlog, we were in Alicante in Feb this year, part of our winter tour, we found a great free park there, it was in Urbanova about 15 minutes outside of Alicante right on the beach if you are still around this area give it a try you wont be dissapointed 👍

I believe each to their own, but I personally like to go on holiday Mandy for the culture and to get away from Brits 😂 but I absolutely love all of your videos. You include everything even the small details of where to shop costs up the whole package. And I must say, Mark! Was back on top form in this video with winding up Lisa and the sharp humour 😂 I sometimes watch just for the extra comedy value absolutely brilliant. I think there is a chinese on the main road near the roundabout with the fountains on at the end of the tiled promenade heading towards the castle. There are steps after that going up to the next level and a nice square outside one of the churches with a couple of bars that is nice and quiet and cheaper than in the centre bars

Hola, I also lived for 3 years in Alicante city,, and El Campello and Playa Muchavista they are the next towns more expats tourists in El Campello good Chino restaurants there for €10 menu of the day and just 20mins from you towards Benidorm, Alicante city is very Spanish but very lovely beach and city, We moved from Barcelona to Alicante city and I thought it was like a smaller version of Barcelona 😊 enjoy xx

Don't know whether you have featured this before, but I would love to see Ostend in Belgium if it's not out of your way on your return to the Ferry from Calais ? (France) The train journey (Where you can hop on and of) from Ostend to Bruges goes through some lesser known and delightful towns where you could probably run parallel to with the Camper Van.
