I have been visiting Benidorm since 1973 ! I have also visited nearly every country in Europe either with work or holidays, as well as the States Mexico and Dom Rep. I speak Spanish and THAT makes one heck of a difference when in Benidorm. My wife and I do not use any Brit bars or Brit eateries. We love the Spanish way of life and enjoy the wit and friendliness of the Spanish people. If you judge Benidorm by the Strip, then you are sadly missing out on a place than can be as boisterous or as quiet as you might wish. If you have not been , then, with respect you have no right to castigate the place.

Stick to the old town at night, brilliant atmosphere with nice bars and eateries. Just stay away from the new town it's a different world. But well worth the visit, I used to refuse to go because I stereotyped the place and now I stay around the old town and its brilliant.

We drove down to benidorm in our campervan last month from York UK 3400 miles round trip , vilasol campsite 20 minutes walk into benidorm centre. We will be going back in October. Benidorm has something for everyone we love the place . To many people knock it and they have never been . Try it you will love it .

I've been to Benidorm 3 years in a row now, I think I'm done with Benidorm for now. I have a new video coming out on Friday that I shot in October last year of the strip at night. I've been SCUBA diving at Benidorm/Peacock Island, it's great. Love the video guys, keep up the great content.

Great Vlog guys. I used to know someone who had a van on camping Benidorm. They used to say the restaurant next door was great too. Been up for a wonder round and a beer a few year back. Going back to the offers you get on the corners down the strip. We mentioned them in our last vlog and how funny it was we got offered nothing whilst we had the GoPro out 🤔😂 . Laugh, no thanks and keep walking. we won't go in the bar they are working for either. Brave filming the Peamen in the next vlog 😂

We went in the van first a week last Xmas. We only went for a laugh and booked into Villamar off Bargain Loving Brits. Billy even sang in the clubhouse Xmas day. We loved the old town and cycled up into the mountains to places like Guadalest. The strip wasn’t for us although we went to see it all. Old town drinking wine with tapas was great. End of the day we enjoyed it so much we are going back this Xmas. Camping Benisol this time. Did you see the Lidl getting built near Raco?

Another great vlog, and as you say there are some quieter spots in Benidorm, me and my daughter went there, at first i though it would be drunken groups of lads etc loud and i wasnt looking forward to it. But its like you said, and i had a great time. You would think people would keep away from the "pea men" and as for having a drink on the beach, wouldnt even think of it, better to be safe than sorry, go to a bar Anyway take care, stay safe x

Glad you got Chicco sorted at the vets. Could you tell me how many tapeworm treatment spaces there are on his Spanish passport. Our dogs have Portuguese passports and there are only 8 spaces to record the worm treatment, and we only have a few, and will then have to get new passports. I hear that some countries have more spaces than others, so interested to know what there is on the Spanish ones. Many thanks. Enjoying your latest adventure. We love Benidorm 😂

Instead of changing currency at the resort i just add the currency onto my revolut card. Decent exchange rate, and you can use anywhere like your normal debit card.

hi lisa you should have pointed out that with the sun loungers on the beach you can come and go all day and not pay again as long as you keep your ticket, also you should have warned about the other beach scam which is to do with the sun loungers as you will get someone posing as an official take your money and don't give you a ticket, and you end up paying again when the official sun lounge operator turns up

It’s not so much that I imagine it’s seedy or anything, I just don’t like places that are anglicised to within an inch of their lives. I go abroad to get away from England so I don’t want to be surrounded by English bars and pubs serving English food and definitely wouldn’t expect to be celebrating St George’s day unless I was in Greece where it is celebrated on the same day as England anyway by everyone called George or Yorgos. I tend to want to experience a different culture.

It's so lovely there and thank you for point out the pea man my mate loss £80 and so many headbutted him and he ended up in hospital for 3 days of he's holiday. The got arrested and was let out the next day. No charge!!
