EA gave them the a license but they’re not funding or be the publisher to the game, Mcgee requires $30 million to make the game a reality so he just needs someone to fund his project.

i follow his twitter and he's only almost finished with all the concept art and storyline, that's it. There's zero actual game development done, and he's still trying to negotitate rights and licensing with EA. It'll be quite a while before we get Asylum, unfortunately.
