Cool to actually see the improvised set that was thrown together when it became apparent that the truck carrying the BDB stage was not going to make it to Toronto in time for the show. Footage shows DD, MB and GB obviously happy to not be locked within the confines of the BDB set.

I was at the Alice Cooper show in Vancouver when he fell off the stage. While he was at the Burnaby General Hospital getting stitched up, Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter (in black top hats and capes) performed a guitar battle for what seemed liked 10-15 minutes They were awesome! Alice came back and did Only Women Bleed but couldn't finish the show due to a concussion and cracked ribs. It was shaping to be an awesome show. Sad he never came back to give Vancouver the full show. Suzi Quatro opened. She was fun.

When I was young in the 70s... Alice was everything to me! I've always longed back then to see him in concert - and or at least see footage like this. Boyhood memories rejoice!!!

I was at that show I was looking forward to the guillotine but it was destroyed in teledo Ohio ,apparently they think Alice Cooper is the devil, they were throwing shit at the band and I guess it got a little out of hand. Fans rushed the stage and destroyed some of the equipment, this was all in the paper back billion dollar babies, very interesting book.

They knew how to put on a show. No backing tracks, just great musicians who know how to use the stage. The Muscle of Love material comes over very well. Glad this exists....precious little does of this end of an era for Alice Cooper the band. Looks like they were having a great time. Glad I got into Alice when I did in 1975. I had no idea they were this fantastic. I found a bunch of second hand Alice LPs and on my pocket money I could only buy one....that one was Love it to Death. I got the rest in time.

Man seeing these amazing videos you have posted, it really goes to show what a spectical concerts were at that say in age. I was born in 78 so I didn't get to see shows other than TV til the mid 90s, and over time I can see how technology has begun to take away from actual concert aspect. I can only imagine what someone's mid 70s mind would actually think of this massive stage, loud instruments, and no $20 beers. Would love that DeLorean to go be a, part of all this. :)

Around this era, Alice played in Rio and TV Globo filmed in 16mm the show and broadcasted it several times, it maybe the best document of him, but they never released it again and maybe it was destroyed in one of the fires the TV suffered.

Bob Ezrin did start as producer on "Muscle of Love." But, once in the studio, Michael Bruce insisted they already had their arrangements worked out, and resisted Ezrin's input. Ezrin chose to step away. It's an underrated album (still better than anything solo Alice has released since,) but would've been even better if the "sixth member of Alice Cooper" had been allowed to work his magic.
