Me and a friend, Susie, use to skip school, catch the bus to the Columbia Colosseum for Alice Cooper concert tickets. We starved and saved our lunch money, dug coins out of mom's purse and dad's pants. Managed to pull it off about every 4 months Alice came Tickets, bag of weed, pack of cigs...one time Alice cancelled and Hall and Oates took their place. I wanted to see them so badly....Yeah. Me and Susie had bought a couple of t-shirts at the Army/Navy while waiting for the bus back It was the American flag kinda torn up....My dad got a call from the school that I had skipped, my dad called her dad both our dads showed up. My dad, a vet, Pearl Harbor survivor, wounded at Guadal Canal, Her dad a Vietnam vet, wounded in S Korea...HOW DARE WE disrespect the American Flag that way? My dad tore up the Hall and Oates tickets...never did get to see them. Did learn one thing...Don't fu@% with the American Flag!
